Groundsman/maintenance

Calmac Developments Ltd are looking for a groundsman/maintenance operative for their various properties in Dumfries. The job will be based at the Woodland House Hotel, Newbridge, Dumfries DG2 0HZ, however you will be required to work at other locations in the town.

Duties will include grass cutting, hedge cutting, weeding, general tidying up both digging and sweeping. Inside maintenance work will also be involved.

Applicants must be able to work on their own initiative and follow instructions given. The use of lawnmowers, strimmers, rotivators will be a requirement of the job and previous experience would be required.

As this is a physical job applicants must be in good health.

This is a permanent position, either part time or full time.

This job would be between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday to Friday.
