**Becoming a Security Test Engineer with SITA**:
Fantastic opportunity to secure a 6 months contract as a Security Test Engineer based in Aldershot with remote working available. The Security Test Engineer will work with our development teams across the globe to ensure the software is verified againstthe criteria set out in the security test strategy by planning, creating and executing security tests and analysing vulnerabilities.

**What you’ll be doing**:

Plan security testing for projects according to security test strategy
Create and maintain DAST scan settings utilising knowledge base
Records and analyses action and results and maintains a defect register alongside reviewing security results and test modifications
Reports on progress to stakeholders as well as actively providing feedback to management which may result in new working practices or general improvements
Perform manual security testing as required
Work with offshore partners ensuring their deliverables conform to SITA standards

**What we’re looking for**:

- Extensive security testing experience in a software development or testing environment (including experience in current security testing methodologies).
- Excellent Fortify Webinspect (or similar security tools) experience
- Extensive static code analysis and dynamic testing tools experience required
- Working experience in a DevOps or Agile environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills cap[able of meeting the demands of project requirements, both written and verbal
Strong time management skills, ability to work under pressure and to work on multiple projects in parallel
