Jackson Hogg is exclusively representing a prominent engineering firm in the region as they look to strengthen their Maintenance function with a Head of Maintenance. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of the site maintenance strategy including all maintenance activities, projects, site services, facilities and infrastructure. This role forms a key part of the Engineering Leadership team reporting directly to the Directorship.

The success of this role lies in its people management within a busy, diverse and challenging Engineering operation with a number of complex compliance, safety and quality elements to contend with. The site is going through significant growth and expansion and with significant financial backing in place, they need a strong technical leader to move the process forward. The key responsibilities include:

- Budget, Costings and P&L - managing key budgetary and costing considerations in line with departmental P&L
- Safety and QMS/Compliance - Working in line with QMS and IS0 9001 within a highly Safety Critical working environment
- Site Service, Facilities and Building/Structure - Management of all hard and soft site services, infrastructure and building and liaising with key internal and external contractor and 3rd party vendors and stakeholders
- Maintenance Function - Manning and deployment, resourcing and staffing of the team as well as overall leadership of the specific maintenance function and team
- Projects - Key CapEx management and delivery across site in line with timescale and cost management
- Relationships with Vendors and 3rd Parties - developing critical business and commercial interests for the betterment and future development and investment of the site as a both a regional strategic asset

There is a sizeable maintenance and technical team in place and an ambitious growth plan in place with a significant order pipeline to cement future growth for the next few years.
