Concern Worldwide (UK) seeks a Senior Communications Officer to support our work to end hunger and extreme poverty in the world's poorest places.

**About us**:
Concern Worldwide is a non-governmental, international humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working toward the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world's poorest countries. Our mission is to transform the lives of people living in extreme poverty. We work with 25 million people each year, in some of the hardest-to-reach and most fragile places. Places prone to conflict, natural disasters, climate change, and extreme hunger.

**About the role**:
The Senior Communications Officer will play a key role in driving awareness and understanding of Concern Worldwide (UK)'s work, and the issues we work on, with our target audiences.

Working closely with the Director of Communications, this is a key post in developing Concern's communications capacity and meeting its objectives through the shaping and delivery of strategy and operational plans.

In this role, you will help us to reach and engage our audiences by making the work of Concern Worldwide (UK) come to life.

With significant experience of working in a communications role, you will have managed campaigns, have excellent writing and editing abilities, be skilled in social media, and know how to promote an organization's brand. In addition, the post holder needs to know how to nurture and promote creativity and be able to juggle multiple priorities.

Concern UK is currently trialling a hybrid working model, which is a blend of weekly office attendance and remote working based in the UK.

Our London office is located 10 minutes' walk from Clapham Junction Station, a riverside office with great views, tranquil surroundings, and easy access to local amenities.
