A new opportunity has arisen for an Security Operations Supervisor for an expanding Scottish Facilities Management company.

The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in delivering the security and cleaning contracts covering a wide geographical area ensuring high standards are preserved across these areas and clients are catered for and KIP’s met and maintained.

This is a fast paced ever changing environment and the applicant will have to have a flexible approach to work and be able to change plans and sometimes work times at short notice. This role will include covering mobile patrol holidays and other sites where a driver is required. It may require working in the central belt to assist security operations, (accomodation will be provided).

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing Apardion’s operations, resourcing sufficient personnel and ensuring site staff are trained in their duties.

Liaise and meet regularly with staff to ensure training is implemented and that their welfare is maintained.

Carry out site surveys and prepare and update assignment instructions as and when required.

Resolve all operational issues and prepare responses within established timeframes to all service complaints.

Assist in recruiting employees and carrying out probabtionary reviews and appraisals.

Carry out one-to-one staff appraisals and record these and address issues identified.

Undertake any other duties consistent with the nature and grade of the post as necessary or as requested.
- Previous Security experience
- SIA licence
- Able to work on own initiative and influence senior internal and external contacts
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Confident, well presented with good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work in demanding and busy environment
- 5 Year checkable work history or evidence to support any period of unemployment, self
- employment or time spent in full time education during that period
- Right to work unrestricted in the UK/EU

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
