Nursery Apprentice

Roselands has an exciting opportunity available. We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with children, who is looking to do their Level 2 and Level 3 qualification in Childcare, and who can quickly adapt and learn to take on the following responsibilities, alongside a team of nursery staff:
The care and supervision of children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs. Maintaining a respectful and caring attitude towards all children, their families and their individual needs.
Ensures that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
The planning and preparation of activities, to meet children's individual needs, liaising with parents and negotiating working targets ensuring effective communication within the nursery. This planning is to be of a standard suitable to be shared with families and Ofsted.
Promoting inclusion within the nursery, offering all children equal opportunities with regard to their religion, racial origins, gender, disabilities, cultural or linguistic background.
Have an awareness of safeguarding children, including knowledge of signs and symptoms of abuse and safeguarding children procedures.
In return Roselands will organise a training provider for you in order for you to complete your qualifications, and provide on the job training to help further your development.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 32 per week
**Salary**: £4.81-£9.60 per hour
