Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery setting. **Responsibilities**:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure effective communication and partnership
- Maintain accurate records of children's daily activities, including meals, naps, and behavior
- Support children's personal hygiene routines, including diapering, toileting, and handwashing
- Foster positive social interactions among children, encouraging kindness and respect
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the nursery environment
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to speak Welsh is essential
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development
- Organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage daily routines effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and situations in the nursery environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to childcare settings
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 14 per week
