**About us**:
Lakshmi Narayana Trust is a Hindu Religious charity that runs a very big temple (Sri Mahalakshmi Temple) in London for the Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi and Lord Sri Narayanar. The devotees visit the temple from all over the UK, Europe and also from all over the world. The temple is also having Sri Hanuman and number of other deities. The Temple provides free food (_annadhanam/prasadham_) to the devotees in the afternoon and evening and we offer _neivedhyam _to the deities three times a day.
**Remuneration**:
We urgently need a **Temple Madappalli Cook** to prepare _annadhanam, prasadham_ and _neivedhyam_ in a traditional way to offer to the Gods and also to the devotees and staff.
The **Temple Madappalli Cook** is important for the Hindu temple as food is prepared in a religious way and madappalli cook is qualified in a spiritual manner to prepare the _annadhanam, prasadham_ and _neivedhyam_. The Temple Madappalli cook will be in charge of the temple’s kitchen. Temple Madappalli cook is required to prepare Neivedhyam Prasadham to the deities in the morning, afternoon and evening and also cook strictly vegetarian food/prasadham to the devotees and staff. Temple Madappalli cook should render help to the Senior Priests on very important religious pooja services performed in the temple.
Temple Madappalli cook should manage and maintain the kitchen and ensure that everything is kept tidy including temple main hall and also adhere to food, health and safety rules.
Temple Madappalli cook is required to assist with kitchen duties commensurate with their role and help in cleaning all utensils for cooking and also help in serving food to the devotees according to Hindu religious rules.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
At least three years’ training and experience in a similar role is essential.
