Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant or hotel
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or rooms
- Provide menus and assist with seating arrangements
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests they may have
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient guest service
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of restaurant or hotel operations and procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with grace
- Attention to detail and ability to provide personalized service to guests
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is a plus
