An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to work at the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory as a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in cardiology and intervention, keen to be involved in this expanding and dynamic service.

You should possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

The post holder will support the team in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

To assist Registered nurses in delivering a high standards of patient care.

To assist in admitting, caring for and discharging patients through their journey in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This entails preparing patients pre procedure and ensuring their aftercare post procedure on the ward.

The Cardiac Cath Lab team consists of Doctors, nurses, radiographers and cardiac physiologist who all work together to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the patient. All the procedures carried out in the Cardiac Cath Lab require all disciplines to work together and the team is only as strong as it's weakest link, making this a team that works cohesively together, valuing and respecting one another.
