**Job Description**:
**JOB TITLE** Café Assistant

**RESPONSIBLE TO** Catering Manager

**SALARY** £10.90 per hour

Term Time Only

**HOURS OF WORK** 9.00am to 2.00pm over Saturday or Sunday

**HOLIDAY** Twenty days in the first instance, rising to twenty-five days after five years service. Holiday is exclusive of Bank Holidays when school is not in session and Occasional Days and any other Public Holidays gifted by the Government. Option to purchase, by sacrificing salary, an additional two weeks holiday.

**We have a vacancy for a friendly, reliable, hardworking and passionate Cafe Assistant.**
**Must be able to use your own initiative and work under pressure, and have exceptional customer service skills**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Working in a busy Café environment, including taking payments, serving on a busy counter.
- Ensure the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness of all areas and equipment.
- To assist in the preparation and service of food
- Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with cleaning rota
- Follow cash handling procedures and cash register policies.

- They will be a responsible individual, who is pro-active and looks to get involved with the team.
- They will be someone who can work within a high standard environment who understands the need for systems and organisation
- They must be flexible and eager to be involved in all aspects of the business
