We are recruiting for a well established and prestigious manufacturing company located just outside Rotherham town centre. Our client is the only UK manufacturer for a number of their products making it a well renowned manufacturer within their field.

We are recruiting for an Assistant Machine Operator on a full time permanent basis. You will start working as an Assistant Machine Operator but there will be opportunity for progression to have further training onto the machines. Reporting into the Shift Production Supervisor your day to day duties will include;
Machine operating
Updating daily logs of machine activity
Performing daily checks on machines to check running as they should be
Record temperature readings
Replace consumable items from the Stores
Degreasing machines
Take machine readings
Interpreting Production Information sheets
Maintaining a safe and tidy working area

This would suit someone who has recently been working as a Machine Operator, Assistant Machinist, or Mechanical Engineer within a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
