Café Supervisor

Overview:
We are seeking a happy and highly motivated, experienced Cafe Supervisor for the Summer Season, to join the team at our cafes in Newquay and restaurant in Mawgan Porth (April-Oct). As a part of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high-quality food and drink standards. If you have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills and appropriate experience, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Have at least 35hours per week available to work (preferably not restricted days/times)
- Oversee all aspects of the cafe's operations, including food production, customer service, and staff management
- Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Train and supervise staff members to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient operations
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and specials
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing sales data and controlling costs

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and culinary knowledge
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service establishments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour
