In this role, you'll play a vital role in preparing and supporting our students for their transition into adulthood.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing young people for adult life and their transition into further education, training, or employment.
- Provide mentorship and support during evening activities, both on and off-site.
- Ensure a smooth settling-in process for the night, utilising verbal and visual prompts as needed.
- Act as a liaison point for parents and carers, ensuring health and medical needs are met throughout the night.
- Offer emotional support and be a listening ear for young people to share their experiences.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Willingness to actively engage and creatively meet the needs of young people.
- Ability to support the development of independent living skills such as budgeting, cooking, and housekeeping.
- Positive approach to prompting and encouraging, while providing social and emotional behavioural support.
- Strong understanding of prioritising young people's needs while empowering them to be independent.
- Access to transport and a valid driver's license are essential due to our rural location.
- Minimum age requirement: 21 and over.
- Full training provided, including the opportunity to study the Level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care (funded by us).
