**About the role***:
We are searching for a Support Worker to help empower the fabulous young adults who attend our adult day service at InFocus. We currently have 14 young adults who use our day service on a weekly basis, it will be your job to provide person-centred, high-quality care to our young adults and support them to make their own decisions, achieve their personal goals and help them develop and/or maintain daily living skills. All within an excellent community care setting.

The shift pattern you will be working is Monday to Friday 09:00 - 16:30. The service closes for the Easter and Christmas holiday period, so there is a requirement to take annual leave during this time.

We offer many opportunities for personal development, in fact, if you haven’t already obtained a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent, we will fund and support you in the enrolment and training of this qualification which is a requirement of the role.

**About you**

Our young adults like a good sing song and hands on activities like arts and crafts, so you’ll need to be a bit arty and also, have a love for trying out new sweet recipes. If you’re a good storyteller and like gardening that will go down well too It’s important that you are passionate and committed to providing care and support to others and that you have a positive can-do attitude with the desire to learn and develop.
