Empire Security Services are currently recruiting for a Corporate Security Officer to join our team and work on one of our contracts located in **Market Quay, Fareham.** This employment will require an Immediate start.

**Shift Patterns**:
Sat & Sun, Times 07:00 until 17:00

10 hours per day, 20 hours a week.

**Rate of Pay**:
£9.90 per Hour

**Purpose**:

- To provide an efficient and professional security service to Empire Security Services clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of customer service; presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence.
- We need a mature and preferably experienced Security Officer holding a current SIA Manned Guarding or Door Supervisor licence to provide security duties at one of our busy Shopping Centres in Dunstable.
- Full and ongoing training with a view to career development including opportunities to progress.
- You must have clear communication skills with a smart and presentable appearance.
- You must be flexible and have the ability to be able to work well on your own and with a team.
- To work as part of the Security and Cleaning team

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure clients property and other assets are secure
- Answering all enquiries (in person or by phone) courteously and professionally
- Complete daily logs noting all appropriate activity
- Produce accurate reports as and when needed
- Conduct sufficient internal and external patrols to ensure security of client's premises
- Undertake the day to day tasks to maintain a secure and safe site maintaining a fully focused and compliant operation which exceeds the client's expectations.
- Managing access control duties; traffic management when required.
- Providing an effective departmental security presence and proactive response service.
- Monitoring fire and security alarm panels.
- Adhering to the communication requirements, records of delivery and maintenance of all other required records.
- Responding to and dealing with all site risk events.
- Ensuring all Client Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators are met.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by Management.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding (required)
- Have a Full UK Driving License (preferred)
- Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken
- Excellent customer care skills, Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety
- Possesses computer literacy of at least a basic level
- Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
- Demonstrate good observation skills
- Demonstrate a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns
- First Aid Training preferred but not essential and this can be obtained upon employment
- Strong observational skills
- High vigilance to ensure a safe / secure working environment
