**My client is searching for a Commercial Litigation - Legal Assistant to join their Harrow, London offices.**
My client is an established law firm specialising in commercial litigation. The firm has significantly grown over the years and are looking to hire experienced litigation assistants to support the senior fee earners within the business.
**Experience**:
- Experience in case management systems. (Training will be provided on Proclaim).
- You must be able to handle pressure, feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to comply with Court deadlines.
- You need to have a 'can do’ attitude.
- You must be able to maintain the highest level of accuracy, be able to use your initiative to prioritise most urgent and upcoming tasks.
- Please note this is an entry level role and training will be provided.
**What you will be doing**:
- As a litigation assistant you will provide support to the senior fee earners and to the business. You will be expected to organise the tasks ahead of hearings - comply with Court directions and eventually have your own case load to manage.
**Duties**:
- Organise tasks lists and input Court directions.
- Update clients, contact the Courts and the Defendant firms of solicitors.
- Amend pleadings, witness statements and other legal documents.
- Prepare bundles ahead of hearings.
