Job Title: CCTV Operative
Contract type: Temporary3-months+ / Ongoing (though opening assignments are often, extended by clients on a longer-term basis).

Hours Per Week: Full-time position 36
12 hours shifts (days and nights) 7 days on and 7 days off
Start Time:7:00 AM - End Time: 19:00 PM
PAYE Rate : £16.07 PH ( incl 12.07% holiday pay)
**Main Purpose of the Job / Key Objectives**:
The main objective of this job is to provide a professional CCTV monitoring service while ensuring that the public space CCTV system is monitored in accordance with its objectives. It is essential to maintain the integrity, security, accuracy, and confidentiality of all information obtained at all times by adhering to legislative requirements for data management, including the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA).
**Requirements**:
**Experience**:
- Demonstrated proficiency in working efficiently under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with working in a CCTV monitoring environment
- Proven track record of collaborating with partner agencies
- Proficiency in utilising various communication channels, such as radios
**Qualifications**:
- Evidence of dedication to ongoing professional development
- Strong command of the English language
- Completion of Control Room Operator Training is preferred
**Working conditions/circumstances**:
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts, 7 days a week
- Flexibility to work at any of the councils CCTV monitoring centres
- Capacity to follow instructions accurately and consistently without close supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with emergency services and members of the public
