Operations Supervisor

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our team as an Operations Supervisor, based at our Greenham depot.

Newbury & District is a multi-operations site delivering local bus services, school contracts, day trips, private hire, National Express services and our prestigious new Flight Line service from Basingstoke to Heathrow.

The role includes
- Supporting our drivers to perform to the best of their ability
- Ensuring the whole operation runs reliably, efficiently and safely and on time
- Resolving day to day issues including driver and vehicle allocation
- Recording and reporting compliance statistics

You will need to
- Have experience of supervising bus or coach operations
- Have a knowledge of bus and coach legislation including driver hours regulations
- Be able to use various computer-based systems
- Have excellent people and customer service skills
- Have a problem solving and decisive mindset
- Act on your own initiative to problem solve and deliver solutions
- Understand a health and safety focussed working environment

You will be working in a small team on an early/late rota with a 5/7 shift pattern. Basic annual pay is circa £35,000
