Cns Cancer Matron

We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate and innovative nurse leader, with experience at a senior level of managing services and teams, to join cancer services.
You will be joining the team as CNS Matron at a very exciting time, as we develop our services across all sites of the Trust in the newly formed Cancer Division.

Te role will have responsibility for the development, management and leadership of allocated Clinical Nurse Specialist teams at Brighton & Princess Royal Hospital for patients who have a solid tumor diagnosis (except breast), and Band 4 Support workers.
Work alongside other Matrons, managers and Leads in Cancer Services, and collaboratively with internal and external partners to enable innovation and development g. nursing structure, workforce planning, budgetary control, caseload, scope of working relationships, materials, equipment etc.
Responsive to often rapidly changing service and staffing needs. There may be occasions where the role is required to provide some clinical cover for the Cancer Nurse Specialist (CNS) teams to ensure continuity of services.
