**Introduction**:
A well-respected developer is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor, due to an internal promotion. It is likely that you will look after 2/3 sites in the Exeter and surrounding areas. You will be offered an agile working week, of 2 days from home and3 from office/site (2 days in the office and 1 day on your local sites) This client very much has the outlook that, its very much about the quality and efficiency of your work rather than the hours you sit at a desk a day
**About the role**:
As an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have full awareness and working knowledge of the commercial process as you will be responsible for your own projects from inception through to completion.
In summary your main responsibilities will be - managing the cost of the scheme and controlling budget, monthly CVR’s and cost reporting, measurement and variations of work, overseeing subcontractors including - payments, issuing work packages and tender packs,negotiating and analysing work packages, agreeing final accounts.
**Experience and Attributes Required**:

- Residential experience is essential, either working for a developer or contractor
- A solid career history is important to this client
- Proven experience working as a senior qs, managing at least 2 schemes
- Team player, self-motivated, driven, and hardworking
