- We are currently seeking a driven and ambitious Transport Planner to co-ordinate aggregates and asphalt deliveries in a busy market. This role is temporary, with an expected end date of 31st October 2023.You will be based in our office in Wenvoe office near Cardiff, and your responsibilities will include:
- Timely & accurate input of all customer aggregates and asphalt orders
- Cost effective dispatch planning (shipping) of all customer orders through active liaison with commercial, operations and transport teams
- Timely response to all customer enquiries and complaints
- Specific support to the pre planning of major contracts or schemes in terms of production and transport capacity planning
We are looking for a professional, experienced Planner who can demonstrate knowledge of road haulage. You will be an excellent communicator and be a proactive self-starter who can build effective relationships both with colleagues and customers.The business places the highest importance on sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental management and you will be expected to contribute to the Company’s zero harm culture.A competitive remuneration package will be offered including pension and life assurance.**Salary**
