We have an lovely opportunity for a Seasonal Front of House/Bar Person to join the team at Hill Barn Golf Club, to serve in the bar and restaurant.

This role is mainly seasonal and hoping for someone to start around the start of April. It will run until October but with a view to extend or make permanent depending on the business and requirements.

We are a fun and often fast pasted environment, and take pride in offering our guests an amazing experience. The majority of the role is serving food and drink, but we also do a wide range of small to medium events like dinners, functions, golf societies, car show, competitions and member based events.

Duties/role:

- Giving every guest a friendly welcome when they enter the business
- Explaining and delivering the service cycle, our products, our great offers and events
- Serving guests in turn, quickly and efficiently
- Using situational selling - making recommendations that are appropriate to the guest
- Serving and presenting all our food and drink products perfectly - product quality, temperature and brand standard
- Valuing our guests by engaging them in appropriate conversation / banter and building rapport
- Valuing regular guests by remembering their names, their likes and dislikes, favourite products etc.
- Checking guests are enjoying their meals
- Dealing with guest queries and complaints quickly and professionally
- Giving every guest a genuine farewell and encourage them to return
- Involved with events to help with setup and the smooth running of them, e.g. societies, functions

There are no split shift but weekend working is essential. You will work varying shifts patterns with start times from 7am and finishing times of up to 10pm depending on daylight and events.
