Care Worker

**WE ARE LOOKING FOR PART TIME / WEEKEND WORKERS AS URGENT.**

**THIS IS FOR WORK IN THE COMMUNITY AND YOU WILL BE TRAVELLING ROUND FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. YOU WILL NEED SOME FORM OF TRANSPORT - BIKE, SCOOTER, CAR - HOWEVER PUBLIC TRANSPORT IS **_**NOT AN OPTION**_

**DESPERATELY IN NEED OF EVENING SHIFT WORKERS - 4PM UNTIL 10PM AND ALL WEEKEND TIMES. WE ALSO HAVE MORNING SHIFT AVAILABLE FROM 7AM**

Crescent Community Care Services Limited have been providing care to our Service Users since 1996 with specialism in Alzheimers, Dementia, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health and Assistance with Personal Care for the Elderly.

**We are looking for caring people who would like to join our team. We provide 1800 hours of care per week in Southsea providing all forms of care, personal care and support. We are currently looking for many more staff to compliment our existing team and will consider people who have worked in care before and those who are interested in starting a career in care.**

**Your Role - **The main role is to providing all aspects of personal care to our clients. This will include assistance with food and fluids, washing, dressing, waking, personal hygiene and medication.

**The Company - **A family business, we have been established for over 25 years, providing good quality care, which has earned us a Good rating with Care Quality Commission.

**Hours Availability -** We understand the different needs of our staff. As such, both part time and full time roles are available. We work to satisfy those needs, be it meeting the time constraints of college, University, Universal Credit or other job roles. Some weekend work is mandatory and can be one shift every weekend or every other weekend.

**We are looking for staff that can work evenings, weekends and early morning shifts**

**Training**

We provide full training and the opportunity for you to complete the Care Certificate while then progressing to fully funded Diplomas in Health & Social Care

**Pension Scheme -** The pension scheme is both employer and employee contribution.

**Paid Holiday -** This varies with hours. Those working full time are entitled to 28 days paid leave per annum.(pro rata)

**Emergency Call Line** - When the office is closed, there will always be a duty manager available to ensure you have a point of contact at work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.00-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 40 per week
