Video content is at the core of Absolute Dogs. Our videos entertain, educate and inform in a way that is attention grabbing and inspiring with plenty of sparkle to really wow our audience and customers.

We’re looking for a skilled Videographer / Editor to work in both short and long formats. The role will involve a mix of filming on-site and on-location in a variety of environments and working from home. When not filming, the role would involve editing videos as per delivery specs, as well as editing videos taken by other team members.

**Objectives of this role**
- Set a high bar for video deliverables
- Ensure consistency in daily content
- Enhance social media and overall marketing strategies
- Enhance brand video product
- Identify and implement improvements in the video production and editing process
- Produce content for diverse audiences and platforms
- Keep up to date with the latest video marketing trends

**Responsibilities**
- Produce and edit short
- and long-form videos for the Company’s website and social media platforms
- Take charge of video ideation and creation
- Record video using professional equipment
- Set-up lighting and audio equipment
- Maintain equipment at high standards
- Ensure videos meet the marketing team’s specifications and guidelines
- Implement creative notes from stakeholders
- Offer customers peerless digital experiences
- Evaluate projects for brand authenticity

**Required Key Skills**
- Familiarity with video production equipment and editing software like Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Attention to detail
- Ability to pick out attention-grabbing shots
- Excellent storytelling skills
- Knowledge of basic editing principles
- Ability to work on a team

**Preferred Key Skills**
- Strong project management skills
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience using professional recording equipment
- Animation design skills are a plus
- Ability to work with multi-track split audio
- Knowledge of aspect ratios
- Understanding of video encoding formats
- Talent for sound design
- Previous experience filming with animals

Minimum for 25 hours per week, flexing up to 40 hours per week as necessitated by the needs of the business and project deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From £27,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
