Henry Adams in Horsham are looking to recruit an experienced bookkeeper to oversee all aspects of the daily accounting requirements within the business, which is split over four separate companies.
We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role, who can demonstrate their ability to work well within a small friendly team.
Although general bookkeeping and accountancy tasks make up the key responsibilities within the role, the position also involves a number of important administrative duties which assist with the successful running of the business.
The role is varied and encompasses a number of key tasks and responsibilities, such as the following.
Daily entries to SAGE
Salary processing alongside the company’s payroll department
Pension processing
Bank reconciliation
VAT returns
Bank receipts and payments
Sales and purchase invoices.
Cashflow forecasting
Credit card reconciliation
Managing and maintaining client account records
Producing intercompany recharge invoices
Producing monthly management accounts, P&Ls.
Producing year end accounts
Company compliance and Professional Memberships & Insurance
General administrative and record keeping duties for the company.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week
