**Job summary**:
This is an exciting role for a motivated and experienced leader within the newly created Illegal Migrations Operations Command (IMOC) working under Director General Stuart Skeates, Strategic Operations for Irregular Migration.

The IMOC will work across the Migration and Borders system and the Home Office to implement and then operate the processes within the new Illegal Migration Act.

This role is within the new end to end case working function called Illegal Migration, Relocation & Returns Service which is currently being established.

The casework command will be responsible for managing the cases of individuals who fall under the duty to remove, from point of claim to their relocation to a safe third country, the country of which they are a national, or one for which they hold a passport / identity document. It involves ensuring that we have the most effective systems to progress both cases in detention and those released into the community awaiting relocation or removal; removing legal barriers; that we continue to evolve our response to ensure it is digitised, efficient and continue to drive innovation.

**Job description**:
The function of the Workforce Support Team is to provide effective internal support to ensure the Illegal Migration Relocation and Returns Services (IMRRS) command is fully and effectively staffed, and to provide wraparound support to the teams.

IMRRS Workforce Support plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily business operations by managing a range of support functions in the new IMRRS Relocations and Returns Service, including but not limited to:

- Workforce Planning
- Resourcing
- Performance/MI
- Finance
- Risk

This is an exciting opportunity to help support and deliver a wide-ranging programme of corporate delivery work that seeks to support IMRRS, as part of Illegal Migration Operations Command (IMOC).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Deliver HR administration ensuring all new hire processes are complete to time and quality
- Monitoring shared inboxes, resolving queries within agreed deadlines, and escalating appropriately
- Developing and maintaining good working relationships with both internal/external stakeholders

**Person specification**:
We are looking for an individual who has a keen eye for detail and thrives in a collaborative environment. Having previous experience in working an admin role and/or supporting a wider organisation would be beneficial.
- Working knowledge and experience of recruitment and onboarding policies and processes
- Experience in processing complex information quickly and confidently
- Sound judgement and excellent attention to detail
- Be a team player, flexible and resilient to accommodate the frequently changing and fast paced nature of the role
- Able to work independently by prioritising your workload whilst working to tight deadlines
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders
- Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
