The role:
Key responsibilities:

- Delivering virtual induction training, mandatory training and non-specialist training.
- Motivating and inspiring learners to achieve and develop their knowledge and skills.
- Planning and delivering effective learning activities for diverse groups in a safe and inclusive environment.
- Provides high quality, engaging and informative training sessions both in the classroom and with new hires in a virtual environment.
- Communicates new starter expectations and instructions as part of the induction curriculum.
- To assist in the development of quality action plans and ensure delivery of appropriate training for all levels of staff throughout the organisation to achieve a reduction in incidents.
- Promoting a variety of learning approaches to suit the needs of the learners and the organisation. - Supporting those learners who may have specific needs and work creatively to overcome any barriers to learning.
- Providing constructive and timely feedback to learners and to Operational Managers.
- Deliver learning activities as per regional / organisational requirements.
- Demonstrate the required level of knowledge and underpinning values to competently deliver all elements of the curriculum.
- To deliver training that is flexible to needs of the core business
- Ideally have a minimum 2 years’ continuous employment in support or care roles in health care, social care or education.
- Hold or be willing to complete an accredited training qualification e.g Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) or equivalent.
- Current Emergency First Aid at Work certificate (which includes immediate life support) or be willing to achieve within a specified timescale.
- Up to date train the train qualification for Manual Handling People Moving or be willing to achieve within a specified timescale
- Confident in using virtual / remote learning technology, maintains personal competence in such systems, and can engage / hold the attention of learners in a virtual learning environment
- Capacity to work unsupervised and co-operatively with others with the ability to promote and support the effectiveness of the company’s employee learning & development strategies.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and deal with situations in a sensitive manner
- Be positive, resilient, and dynamic with excellent training delivery and presentation skills
- Ability to demonstrate agility in working practices to provide ad hoc training and learning for specific operational requirements i.e. services who are under strict regulatory oversight.
