**Role Purpose**

**Spray Painter (Grade A Operator)**

**Salary: £35,137 plus shift allowance (where applicable)**

This opportunity, based at our **Prestwick** site offers:

- 37 hour working week (half day Friday)
- Shift premiums up to 33%, where applicable
- Overtime at time and a half, where applicable

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the safety, health and welfare of the individual and others.
- Personally responsible for the cleanliness and housekeeping suitable for the manufacture of high quality aircraft components within their work area.
- Personally responsible for ensuring and certifying that the quality of his/her work consistently meets specific standards required by the Company.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to close tolerances.
- Working within a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiencies to meet the changing needs of our market.

Qualifications:
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship in the relevant discipline or have recent experience of coachwork or mechanical painting
- Good communication skills
- Experience in Aircraft Detail Painting is desirable
- Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a successful, effective and productive team
