Maintenance Fitter

The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting for a **Maintenance Fitter** to join our clients growing team based in the Llanelli area.
**Contract**: Permanent
**Salary**: £30,091 basic plus Shift Allowance (Inc SA £34,784)
**Hours of work**: 3 shift pattern / Variable Shifts to be discussed
**You will be Responsible for**: Provide breakdown support to manufacturing areas. Carry out Improvements, TPM, Schedule Maintenance on all equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- Mechanical Engineering Maintenance or similar
- OHNC in Mechanical Engineering

**Key Requirements**:

- Apprenticeship trained in Mechanical Engineering (multi-skilled)
- Must have relevant experience with industry std repair equipment
- Have multi-skilled maintenance experience with automated facilities
- Experience in Mechanical circuits and control systems.

- Mechanical Comprehension
- Fault Finding
- Health & Safety Awareness
- Spacial Awareness
- Numerical comprehension

**Key Tasks / Responsibilities**:

- Health and Safety Awareness for all activities undertaken.
- Communicate with Shift Supervisors to determine priority / urgency of a required repair
- Determine whether spares are required
- Feedback to Shift Supervisors
- Complete relevant paperwork and fill in Pirana reports
- Prepare for future jobs
- Carry out any other duties, including overtime, relevant to the post which may arise.
- Fault finding, undertake timely repairs of all equipment plus TPM.
- Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times
- Look at ways of improving equipment
- Plan own workload
