As the **HR Manager** you will report directly to the businesses Managing Director and be responsible for the shaping and delivery of the organisations HR strategy.

As a **HR Manager** will ultimately be responsible for:

- Management and delivery of the business recruitment strategy, activity and budgets.
- Ownership, updating and communications of the organisation terms and conditions of employment including HR and health and safety related policies and procedures
- Overseeing and auditing of the HR administration function
- Overseeing the monthly payroll provision
- Working closely with departmental managers in monitoring employee holiday, absence and performance.
- Offering support, coaching and advice where needed
- Managing the L&D development process, including performance reviews and appraisals, training needs analysis, training resourcing, upkeep of training records and ISO9001 compliance and salary reviews linked to performance
- Supporting the on-boarding process including probationary reviews
- Dealing with and supporting the management team with advice and coaching with regards to ER and employee performance issues
- Production and management of the annual HR budget
- Team management
- Delivery of the business internal communication activity
- Shaping and delivery of the organisations wellbeing strategy and related activities and support

The ideal **HR Manager** will need:

- Proven experience in providing professional and commercial advice across a range of HR issues to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of supporting senior business leaders and managers
- To be a member of CIPD or equivalent accreditation or qualification (Ideally Level 5)
- Great communication skills with an ability to engage and influence with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience of dealing with complex and sensitive employee relation issues
- Proven ability to mentor and manage others
- Previous experience of using HR management systems and use of HR metrics
- Strong commercial, health and safety and manufacturing awareness
