Pharmacy Driver

**Core Responsibilities**:
- Delivery of medications from pharmacy to patients and nursing/ care homes following pharmacy’s delivery procedures & protocols.
- Collection of prescriptions from surgeries/ institutions as and when required.
- Working closely with different teams of the pharmacy to ensure timely deliveries.
- Require to complete annual pharmacy driving training to carry out delivery of medication duties.
- Adhering to Data Protection Act 2018 i.e. data confidentiality.
- Daily Vehicle checks at the end of shifts.
- Other ad-hoc duties may be required from time to time by different teams.
**Requirements**:
- Must have a **clean and valid** UK driving licence with a good knowledge of the local areas.
- Flexibility to cover other drivers across the region.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience within a pharmacy preferred but not essential.
- Good communication skills and team-player.
- Must be professional and punctual.
- Friendly, patient and possess an excellent level of customer care/ service.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Self-motivated and possess the ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Reliable and responsible.
**Hours of work (part-time hours)**:
- 10.00am to 4/5.00pm (flexi).
- 12 - 18 hours per week.
**Salary**:
£10.42 per hour.

COVID-19 considerations:
Facemasks are reccomended within the Pharmacy and there are sanitising stations located in different departments of the premises.
**Experience**:
