Direct Response Employment Services is recruiting for an exceptional client of ours in a recruitment of a production planner to join the team on a permanent basis.

As a production planner you ideally will have some previous production planning experience or similar or perhaps a recent graduate who has excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.
- To strategically plan forthcoming business performance using the sales forecast and historical data in order to ensure customer orders are met.
- To Analyse this data and highlight any obstacles that stop these orders being achieved.
- Plan product availability and communicate the collection plan with the transport manager.
- Measure and publish production, sales and producer performance against an agreed plan and to also ensure products are despatched, delivered and proof of delivery matches prior to submitting to accounts for invoicing.
- To create daily plans for the operations team highlighting any issues so that labour can be correctly planned in order to hit budget.
- Forward plan seasonal activity and new products and ensure teams are full briefed.

The working hours are working 6am - 6pm working 4 on 4 off shift pattern and the salary is between £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
