We have a fantastic opportunity for someone engaging and customer-focussed to join our Professional Services team as a Software Training Consultant. This role is important as you'll be responsible for providing a consultative approach to delivering Accountancy software, Senta & IRIS product training to our customers.
This is a great position for someone friendly and communicative with great problem-solving skills, who will answer questions and train clients how to use our product. We really want you to bring your ideas and creativity to training customers on our Senta products. If you think we can educate clients better, then we’ll do it - FAQs, webinars, videos, podcasts, guides, user groups, workshopswhatever you think will help our clients.
This role is home-based, though ideally we'd want someone based near our Manchester or Slough offices. However, from time-to-time you'll need to attend on-site meetings with customers and internal meetings. There may also be occasions where you'll be asked to travel within the UK with overnight stays.
**What will you be doing?**
This role will involve utilising your knowledge of our Senta product, IRIS accountancy suite and IRIS Elements cloud accounting solution to deliver paid training programmes and consult on configuration projects as part of our professional services suite.
As part of the configuration process, you will be working as a Consultant to review their existing processes and advise them on the best way to implement them within Senta’s workflows. This will involve requesting information from our customers and organising review meetings with them.
With Elements you will become part of the team to deliver webinars and training, also keeping our documentation updated, as more products are released for Elements.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve the following:
- Project scoping
- Project summary and documentation
- Project Delivery
- Training
- Handovers
- Supporting the implementation manager and other colleagues
- Creating processing documentation as required
- Any other duties as may from time to time be reasonably required.
**What are we looking for?**
We're looking for someone with the following skills, competencies and experience:
- Experience working in a customer focused environment
- Proficient using Microsoft Office
- Presentable and confident when meeting new people, and have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new skills.
- Able to consult with customers to clearly understand their requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Software implementation, training or support experience (desirable).
