Manage the full process around the assessment of children and young people with special educational needs in accordance with the SEN Code of Practice including
- identifying those requiring need assessments
- co-ordinating assessments
- writing Post Assessment Summaries and EHC plans
- preparing paperwork for SEND panels
- liaising with schools, parents/carers and other agencies
- Maintain and update on a regular basis, the information held on the SEN service files and databases and to retrieve data and produce management information reports as required
- Participate in the Local Authority’s systems for monitoring and quality assurance for children and young people with SEN
- Undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time by the Lead Officer and senior managers
Role is fully remote
Rate: £18.86 Umbrella
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: £18.86 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
**Experience**:
- Special education: 1 year (preferred)
- local authority: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cowley, OX4 2RU
