Amenities Operative

**Stamford Town Council is recruiting for a part time position (31 hours per week - shift pattern) to work within the Outdoor Operations team.**

Salary Scale - NJC -SCP 1

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the effective delivery of a wide range of street-scene and horticultural related activities on land owned and maintained by the Town Council and its clients and to provide efficient, high quality, skilled maintenance of the grounds, parks, and open spaces. Other areas of responsibility include:

- General horticultural work on various Council owned sites
- To maintain all Council owned sites to a high standard
- Ground maintenance duties and servicing public facilities. The successful applicants will need to demonstrate
- Good communication skills
- Possession of a clean driving licence would be an advantage but not essential

Hours of work - there is a requirement for weekend work on a rota basis and/or a standby arrangement as required
