Our client based in Stoke on Trent are looking for plant labourers to work within a factory that carries out galvanising steel, The hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday plus overtime.

These are temp to perm positions for the right applicant. The role involves:
- Completing all duties required of the galvanizing process as directed by your supervisor in a prompt and timely manner
- Inspecting customer products prior to galvanizing
- Drilling holes in the steel prior to jigging
- Correctly hanging the steel on the racks for an effective and correct galvanizing finish
- Fettling steel to remove dangerous spikes
- Stacking the steelwork in a safe manner, reporting defective galvanizing to ensure it is corrected
- General plant housekeeping

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary contract

**Salary**: From £9.75 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime
