**Job overview**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Bury Integrated Community Stroke and Neuro Rehab Team

The team is an integrated multi-disciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Psychologists, Speech therapists, Therapy Technician / Senior Therapy Assistants and Administrative support.

The work is varied and you will manage and prioritise your own caseload under the guidance of the registered practitioners to provide high quality support for the therapists and assist with the rehabilitation of patients working directly with the different professions.

**Main duties of the job**:
Manage own waiting lists with the support of the Assistant Practitioners and other support workforce

Manage own caseload under the direction of the registered practitioners

Undertake administrative duties as required

Contribute to service development projects

Use own car to visit patients in own home or other location e.g. clinic (travel expenses reimbursed)

Able to proficiently use NHS IT systems for patient records, data inputting, letters (training given) in a timely way

Excellent time management skills

Excellent listening and communication skills

- Minimum of grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Care Certificate / L2 Health related vocational qualification or commitment to work towards

**Desirable criteria**:

- Good general GCSE's - 5 or equivalent, inc Maths and English

**Travel**:

- Able to travel for work purposes

**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Experience of working with the public
- Experience of working in a team
- Experience of working independently

**Desirable criteria**:

- Experience of working in the NHS / Health care setting in a patient facing role
- Experience of working in a care role that includes handling e.g NHS, care home, private carer

- Ability to demonstrate IT skills inc word and powerpoint
