We are currently seeking an individual to join the Business Finance team in the permanent role of Senior Finance Business Partner - Commercial Banking UK (CMB UK).

In this role, you will:

- As a trusted business advisor you will be responsible for supporting the following areas to drive business strategy through insightful financial analysis that supports decision making and value creation for the UK Commercial Bank and Finance function, including:

- Business Performance and Planning activities through the provision of stakeholder briefings on Financial results, regular forecasting and strategic planning such as the annual Financial Resources Plan (FRP) for CMB UK;
- Stress testing activities that require coordination for CMB UK inputs to HBUK Stress Testing and Recovery and Resolution planning activities;
- Capital management activities through effective reporting, forecasting and insights of focussed on growth, optimisation and returns.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- Business Partnering or senior stakeholder management;
- Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrable analytical skills
- Forecasting or strategic planning experience;
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.

The base location for this role is Birmingham and with a hybrid working pattern.
