**The role...**

The Head of Marketing and Communications is accountable for defining and delivering our Securitas UK marketing and communication strategy internally and externally specifically to attract new prospects to Securitas, generate interest in solutions with existing clients and increase our brand awareness across the UK. To define and deliver engaging, external, and internal communication campaigns aligned to Securitas UK business priorities and vision. Proactively manage and evolve key communication channels i.e., Securitas UK website and social media, to deliver measurable, positive outcomes in business performance.

**What you will be doing...**
- Define the Securitas UK marketing strategy aligned to the strategic business plan
- Research and analyse market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and plans
- Manage the development and execution of cost-effective, targeted marketing campaigns (local and national) from concept to execution across all media i.e. from broadcast and press to digital and social media
- To monitor and effectively manage the teams’ interactions with existing and prospective clients during the sales process using the latest CRM capability
- Support the sales team with collateral and content to help them convert more prospects
- Monitor and manage the generation of inbound demand and drive traffic through online marketing programmes
- Liase with the Chief Commercial Officer to plan and deliver targeted content across all digital channels i.e. website, social media
- Oversee the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related content
- Oversee the marketing teams’ attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions
- Manage PR activities and journalist enquiries proactively and reactively (some of these may be outside core working hours) to ensure appropriate influence/exposure of Securitas UK
- Ensure the team deliver a differentiated social media approach that integrates with our overarching brand strategy, creating brand advocates and increasing our reach through our key corporate social media platforms i.e., twitter and LinkedIn
- To monitor the team’s effectiveness in handling customer enquiries through our social platforms in a timely manner, in keeping with our brand values - maintain media enquiries and website enquiries log
- Be the go-to person for best practice and compliant use of social media across Securitas UK
- Work with key stakeholders including Business Information analysts to combine business information with intelligence products

**What you will need...**
- Right to work in the UK
- 5-year checkable work history
- UK Driving Licence
- Experienced corporate communications professional, excellent communicator with a track record of developing successful and impactful external comms campaigns
- Experience of digital channel delivery across paid, earned and owned media and a good understanding of how to amplify traditional media activities in a social media channel
- Experience of using Workplace, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and other social media platforms
- Digital skills including SEO and Google Analytics
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt writing to different channels and audiences
- Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships across stakeholders both inside and outside Securitas UK
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus under pressure
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Business-focused with an entrepreneurial mentality
- Extensive experience in SEO, PPC, Google AdWords, Content Management Systems, Dynamics CRM, InDesign and ESN tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects at any one time, while remaining calm under pressure
- Experience in the Security industry

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £70,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
