**Community Outreach & Marketing Coordinator**

Hampshire Market Garden CiC are looking for someone to join our team part time and provide a link between Hampshire Market Garden, Hampshire Veg Box and the local community of Hampshire, in line with our vision of helping people of all backgrounds get access to healthy, local, organic food. Delivering a service that promotes and supports choice, empowers individuals, and helps people take control of their own food choices.

**Hours & Salary**: 12 hours per week, £12.02 per hour.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about healthy food and getting it to the people of Hampshire.

The position is for 12 hours a week and the successful applicant will be required to both work from the market garden (Hambledon, Hampshire) and remotely / at home. Plus be able to travel to meetings and events as required by the role.

The position would suit someone with marketing experience, community outreach experience and who is passionate about healthy food, regenerative farming and sustainability.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- To create and implement a marketing plan to increase sales of healthy food to our delivery areas in Hampshire.
- To create and maintain partnerships with local CiC’s, charities and companies whose values align with our own.
- To create educational content that helps the local community with their understanding of the benefits of local and organic food.
- To organise and attend local community events that further develop understanding of the importance of local food and organic healthy food.

**Essential qualities and experience**:

- Experience in marketing or community outreach
- Ability to create and release multiplatform content including social media posts, blogs, newsletters and potentially social media ads.
- A people person who is interested in networking amongst other local food producers in Hampshire.
- Someone who can build connections with cic’s, charities and companies whose visions align with our own.
- Own vehicle and ability to travel to site, meetings and events.

**Timing & Benefits**:
The role is 12 hours per week and has flexible working hours. You will receive all statutory rights in relation to paid holiday and pension. Everyone on the farm has access to free vegetables.
