We are currently seeking a Personal Assistant to work on a one week on, one week off basis with our client living in Godstone.
Our client is a young female in her early twenties, living with an acquired brain injury. This is a live in package where staff stay for one week at a time, this opportunity involves supporting with all aspects of the clients daily life, ensuring college attendance, promoting independence and assisting the client to live safely in their own home.
- Someone who likes to instigate fun, who is uplifting and has experience with similar aged clients.
- Someone who can communicate well with a fantastic sense of humour.
- Someone who seeks to build meaningful, professional relationships with the client and other members of the team.
- Someone who enjoys cooking, who likes to educate and teach whilst promoting independence.
- Someone who has experience with adult tasks including running a home.
**Requirements**:
- A full UK drivers licence with your access to your own vehicle, as you will be required to transport the client into the community. Mileage will be paid for such journeys.
- A minimum of 3 months paid care experience including, prior experience supporting a client with an acquired brain injury.
- Someone who is flexible with their availability and is willing to work two weeks consecutively if needed.
