As a Bank Administrator, you will be going into teams suffering a shortfall in staff and supporting to ensure the service continues to run at the best of its ability. The specific roles can vary from Receptionist to Medical Secretary.

By its nature, bank work is highly flexible, and you will be able to discuss with the given service the hours you are available to offer. Often requests will be for Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00, but teams are happy to be flexible to ensure core hours are covered.

Our roles can be band 2, 3, or 4, dependent on the service and specific requirements. Your pay will be as follows.

**Hourly Rates**:
Band 2 £11.45 per hour

Band 3 £11.67 - £12.45 per hour

Band 4 £12.86 - £14.41 per hour

Roles tend to be longer term, ranging anywhere 2 weeks to three months; sometimes longer should the service require. It is rare that ad-hoc shifts are needed, so you will need to be able to commit to longer periods of time within one team.

You will be required to use relevant ICT, Patient Administration Systems, and always have an acute awareness of Data Protection and Information Governance.

Working as a Bank employee for the Trust is demanding, but a highly fulfilling role.

**Qualifications**:

- GCSE in English, grades A-C or level 2 Literacy or equivalent.
- ECDL or equivalent including basic knowledge of all MS Office packages - including Microsoft Office calendar for diary management.
- NVQ level 2 Business and Administration or equivalent.
- I typing/word processing or equivalent.

**Experience**:

- Relevant experience of working in a general administrative background, preferably within an NHS setting.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Understands Code of Conduct in relation to Data Protection and Information Governance.
- Organise and plan straightforward activities relating to own workload on a day to day basis, some on going, adjusting own workload in response to prevailing circumstances.
- Managing own activity within sphere of responsibility. Ability to accurately input confidential data onto a database.
