As an
**Assistant Buyer**, we want you to bring your skills, knowledge and previous experience to the team. You’ll need to demonstrate your experience whilst working within our Operations Team.
We are a small friendly department with a positive can-do attitude.
Working in an expanding company based in Batley, West Yorkshire.
**About the role**:
- Working with external suppliers and managing your own work load
- Management of your suppliers from start to finish which will include - Order management, Logistics, Accounts,
- Working alongside the warehouse monitoring stock levels
- Investigating invoice queries, generating credits, follow up for returned items.
**About you**:
- Experience of working within supply chain / purchasing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Computer literate, especially in excel
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail,
- You will have the ability to listen and to think on your feet,
- You will enjoy working in a small, friendly team and be approachable in nature
- A can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and self-sufficiently when needed
- Must be a team player
- Experience of using ERP systems is an advantage
