Our client is looking for an Electrical Supervisor for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen

**Role**

The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of Optima’s Hydro-Lift fleet / personnel ensuring on time delivery and maintenance/servicing to Optima’s ISO 9001:2000 standard.

**Responsibilities**
- Liaise with other members of the delivery team (Operations/Hydro-Boost/Rig Cooling fleet) to ensure all
- projects fulfil the client’s requirements of on time delivery and service quality
- Supervise the maintenance and upkeep of the electrical workshop bays and stores as such that the
- department stays to its high safety and quality level
- Assist where required the Engineering/Technical Department with the innovation & design of new equipment
- Monitoring and evaluate the electrical services and products received from 3rd parties and suppliers
- Supervise the servicing and upkeep of on and offshore electrical starter panels, submersible pumps and other
- ancillary items within the Hydro-Lift fleet when required to the highest standard, to ensure quality and service
- to our clients
- To provide hands on training to the service and maintenance of electrical units
- To ensure adherence to the lock out procedure for all electrical devices
- To assist project teams when required for technical and experience input.
- The creation and management of documentation for the relevant procedures i.e equipment request forms,
- maintenance sheets, quality system and training matrix for apprentice electricians.
- To keep track of electrical assets (Submersible pumps & panels) when out on jobs
- Update status of electrical equipment at and for weekly operations / or when required
- To supervise the maintenance of electrical equipment throughout Optima yard and offices if required.
- To Manage/ mentor the electrical apprentices ensuring their constant development.
- Develop/improve protocols and procedures relating to operations
- Ensure quality of purchases and processes are monitored and evaluated in a continuous basis
- Assist QHSE specialist on closure of NCR reports and or JIP where required
- Monitor and report the cost of poor performance regarding the Hydro Lift fleet Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Recognized Electrical qualification, with recent and relevant experience is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under strict time-lines with mínimal supervision.
- Understand and analyse complex information quickly and effectively; be able to present that information
- simply and accurately.
- Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal and external customers.
- A current driving license is preferred (for example for travel between client and company worksites and
- premises).
- B2 Forklift Truck operation certification preferred.
- Experience in a similar role in the oil and gas industry preferred.

- reporting and accountability to the Mechanical Supervisor.
- Have the ability to interpret requests and instructions accurately, and interpret customer needs
- accordingly, in order to deliver necessary guidance or instruction.
