Rental Advisor

*Job Title:* Van Rental Advisor *Reports To:* Rental Manager *Company:* Laser Van Rentals *Location:* Watford, Hertfordshire (WD18 9TS) Laser Van Rentals is a vehicle rental company with multiple locations in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. This position will be based in Watford, Hertfordshire in a busy office environment. The company seeks a well presented, articulate and organised individual that is proactive in sales and able to deliver an outstanding customer service. You will be expected to have a good understanding of the vehicles available for hire and be competent in comprehending client requirements and quoting on suitable options through multiple channels of communication. The individual will be able to manage all stages of the pre and post booking including document checks, personal greeting of the customer for vehicle handover to the completion of paperwork. The role will require a self-motivated individual that is able to manage their daily workload, provide great customer service & satisfaction and be a team player. A good understanding of computer-based systems as well as Microsoft packages. Our business hours are Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00 and 07:30 to 10:00am on the weekend. The core hours will be Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30 and occasional Saturday mornings dependent upon business demands. The role will also require you to be able to drive and appropriately park the vehicles for an efficient, customised handover experience. Checking vehicles back at the end of hire and parking safely in appropriate spaces. *Main Responsibilities and Duties*
- Key point of contact between clients and the organisation.
- Know the spectrum of product range and basic technical knowledge of the company’s fleet.
- Answering queries, offering advice, support and information, introducing and recommending company products.
- Appropriate face to face interaction and professionalism towards client on site.
- Accurately calculating rental estimates, processing bookings, accurately updating online booking system, taking credit card payments and general office administration.
- Handover of vehicles and checking back in. Ability to carry out basic checks and top-up vehicle fluids if required *Qualifications and Skills*
- Full, clean driving licence held for at least 2 years
- Helpful & friendly manner
- Previous experience in customer services and sales
- Effective time management
- Knowledge of vehicles
- Excellent attention to detail
- PC Literate - Microsoft packages, booking software
- Bonus skills would include a good understanding of social media, online marketing, and SEO.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
