**CAD Technician (Mechanical)**
**£30,000 - £35,000 +**Bonus + Progression + Bespoke Product Technical Training + Private Company Pension + Early Finish Friday
Office Based, Commutable from Yeovil, Yetminster, Sherborne, and surrounding areas.
Are you a CAD Technician looking for an autonomous role where you will produce and transform sketches into mechanical designs within a rapidly expanding bespoke automotive manufacturer where you will be heavily invested in to progress into a technical expertsrole?
This is a great opportunity for a driven CAD engineer to work on a variety of exciting projects within a close-knit specialist team all whilst developing your technical knowledge to become a go-to expert.
This company have been established for nearly 40 years and specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke access equipment for vehicles. They work closely with blue chip clients and are renowned for being the UK's market leaders in what they do.
In the role, you will be working alongside a highly skilled team on a number of projects. You will be solely producing CAD drawings and transforming sketches into mechanical designs, whilst liaising with engineers and designers to ensure the client's needsare fulfilled.
This position would suit a CAD Technician looking for an autonomous role.
**The Role**:
*Producing detailed, high quality designs using CAD software.
*Progression to senior designer roles.
*Mon-Fri 8:00-17:00 with an early finish Friday.
*Extensive product training.
**The Person**:
*Background in Mechanical Engineering
*Proficient in Inventor.
*Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD.
*Looking for a long term role within a growing bespoke mechanical manufacturer.
