Contract: Full time, Permanent

Shifts: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 07:00 - 19:00 Rotating 8 hr shifts

**Purpose of the role**

To assist the Team Leader in the day to day running of the Operations. The Operator will be expected to carry out all duties aligned to the role, including any adhoc requests, To develop and become an integral part of the professional & seamless team's already operating onsite.

**Key Responsibilities**
- X ray scanning of all Goods in
- Deliver Incoming mail to locker drops on floors in all buildings
- Process Incoming Accountable mail items
- Delivery of Business Accountable mail to floors in all buildings
- Collect mail as appropriate from lockers on floors
- Delivery of newspapers, stationery and paper throughout all buildings
- Collection and delivery of Archive boxes
- Dispatch outgoing mail using Franking machine
- Distribute internal poster and brochure campaigns across all buildings
- Communicating with Security for vehicle entry, contacting other suppliers on site to ensure they are present to receipt their delivery
- Pallet truck trained (training provided) in case you are required to manoeuvre pallets around the Loading Bay. Delivery recipient will normally take this responsibility
- Ensure all deadlines are achieved and managed in conformance with service level agreement, communicating any potential failed deadlines to Team Leader
- Provide a high level of customer service in all activities, demonstrating a pride and professionalism in all times
- Understand the importance of the clients request, discuss and agree requests once understood, give options and value for money
- Take ownership of general housekeeping in the Mail Room and paper and archive storage areas
- To support colleagues and work as a team in order to achieve the best results for the client
- Undertake any ad hoc duties as requested
- Data entry into various systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues

**Key Skills**
- Previous Distribution experience is essential with understanding of all Distribution procedures and processes.
- Be prepared to learn and support Admin team where necessary
- Good PC skills with a working knowledge of all Microsoft software packages.
- Strong customer service skills
- Willing and enthusiastic attitude
- The ability to work well under pressure
- An adaptable and flexible approach.
- Flexibility around shift patterns and changes
