Department Overview UK Managed Services and Solutions are responsible for the delivery of service across a range of products to Motorolas UK customers. The products include
Airwave TETRA Managed Service
Pronto
CCCRS control room software
Edesix bodyworn video
Device as a Service
Ultimately, the business unit is responsible for ensuring the services operate in line with contractual requirements and managing customer expectations and satisfaction across the portfolio of services.
**Job Description**:
This role is working on a hybrid basis. Your work will be split between working from home and working from our London office.
Purpose
Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads
Assist and communicate with leadership team in decisionmaking, program management, and initiative implementation
Review, design, and execute on improvements to org structure, identify knowledge and skills gaps and help address them
Improve current processes and coordinate organisational procedures for optimised efficiency and productivity
Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Director of UK Managed Services & Solutions this will include some aspects of diary management and event organisation but is not a major part of the role lt;20
Key Accountabilities
Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with the Director and leadership team on special projects
Serve as liaison between staff, the leadership team, and the Senior Director UK Managed Services & Solutions, regarding culture, strategic initiatives, project updates, proposals, and planning
Drive organisational performance by ensuring talent management initiatives are followed through
Oversee the departments resourcing plans, working with HR to understand hiring, retention, staff turnover metrics
This should be the first bullet as it sets the key strategic value that this role brings the organization.
Ensure consistent branding and quality of internal and external communications within the business unit working with the marketing team to ensure alignment. Ensure focus on quality and content of communications internal branding within the business unit.
Attendance at customer meetings and interaction with customers as and when required
Other Adhoc duties as and when required consistent with the role
Basic Requirements
Degree or other similar quality formal education in a relevant discipline
Desirable experience with data analysis
Desirable experience with budget management
Proven success in project management
Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
