Senior M&e Buyer

BMES (Scotland) Ltd. are a rapidly growing Electrical & Mechanical Contracting business & are looking to fill a senior M&E buyer position within our new head office based in Bonnybridge.

We are looking for an energetic, bright & commercially aware individual with a keen eye for detail who has experience in an M&E purchasing role. You will be confident in using Microsoft Excel & Word, and will have experience in stock management & pro-active, lead time-based purchase ordering to ensure materials are available when required.

The role will be to assist & support all aspects of the business in material pricing, purchasing and requirements for our commercial projects and you will be comfortable working within a fast pace environment whilst maintaining a focus on detail and accuracy or work.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Purchase goods and services from current vendors and source new vendors when required.
- Identifying potential savings and implementing cost reduction initiatives.
- Develop excellent working relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiate on prices and payment terms.
- Manage and monitor all stock and equipment control.
- Receive deliveries.
- Ensure all items conform to specified requirements.
- Invoice queries.
- Organise Site Deliveries / Uplifts.
- Previous experience working in an M&E purchasing/store’s role preferred
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain effective relationships with internal customers and suppliers.
- Self motivated and effective planning & prioritising workload essential.

Salary TBC Depending on experience

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
